Pricing
Basic rate: $200 per hour for a 3-man crew with a 2-hour minimum. This is what we typically recommend but crew size can fluctuate based on the needs of the job. The price is $150 per hour if we determine you only need a two man crew.
Other than our hourly rates, we charge a $1 per mile fuel fee.
To minimize costs, we come supplied with reusable materials like moving blankets, storage bins, and rubber entryway mats. Unless you decide to purchase additional disposable materials like floor protection, carpet shield, boxes, mattress covers, etc. or if your move requires a heavy lifting fee then you should expect no additional charges beyond our hourly rates.
Heavy Lifting
We will move items like safes, pianos, and other large or potentially dangerous objects on case-by-case basis as determined by the movers. It is in everyone’s best interest if you let us know before the move if you will need us to carry heavy items outside the category of normal household items.
We cannot transport household liquids and chemicals.
We will not work in unsafe or unsanitary conditions according to our own judgement.
Hourly Rates
Our time starts when we leave our lot and ends when we arrive back at our lot, excluding lunch breaks if applicable. The more prepared you are for us to load and unload your belongings, the faster your move will go!
We generally assume that a single mover can manage 500-600 SF per day and that one truck can hold approximately 1500-2000 SF. We will start by discussing the expected crew size and time required to make your move over a phone call. At around 1800 SF, we typically like to make a site visit to better assess the proper crew size for your move.
If you decide to book your move with Manley Movers, we will charge a deposit at the time of booking that is equivalent to the two hour minimum for the agreed upon crew size. This deposit will be deducted from your bill.
We make an effort to complete every job as quickly as possible with the average day ranging between 6-8 hours. If you purchase our packing service, we typically schedule that one day in advance of your move. Each day, our goal is to be out of your hair by dinner time!
For multi-day jobs, we require payment at the end of each day. For single day jobs, we require payment once the job is complete. The move is complete when the three following qualifications have been met: all of your belongings are out of the truck, you are pleased with where your belongings are now, and our truck is empty. Please be prepared to pay the hourly rate upon completion of your move. Though gratuity is not included, it is greatly appreciated by our hard-working team.
